Scenic Sunday: Town of Gold
Frisco, Colorado was once a bustling hub for gold miners and dreamers chasing mountain magic. Today, the gold rush has taken on a new meaning—one of leaf peepers flocking to the high country in search of golden aspen groves, myself included. When shooting landscape photos, I try to find angles you don’t often see. I hope that these images of a vibrant autumn in 2022 bring a fresh perspective to the annual autumn “gold rush” in our mountain town. Summit County, Colorado, what a place!
